I am as only as strong as my sister
For we are a linked chain built together
Together in unity is the only way we can help our community
Pulling each other up with helping hands instead of condemning stares
Sideway snickers and bickering over nonsense of this world

For it is through our merged wombs that we raise our children
Our shoulders bearing the responsibilities of this world,
Our backs being the backbone in many of today’s home
So you see…
I have no time to hate what God created similar to me….
You are my sister and I am only strong as thee
I won’t break you with my words or my envious thoughts
I will lift you up with my prayers, encouraging you a lot
It is through your beauty that I see my own
Through your smile that I wear my crown
I aim to inspire you in the return hopes that is your goal too
Let us reclaim our power,
moving through this world with confidence and grace
Allowing our lips to move mountains with kind words
Our hands creating life and laughter with each soothing touch
Erasing the backstabbing bitterness and revengeful sorrow
We are only as strong as the unity we present when we are all on one accord
We are responsible for our tomorrows
I am your sister not your enemy, I do not wish you harm
So take a stand with me
that today we pledge publicly
to be each other’s spines
to ease each other’s minds,
and to love each other wholeheartedly
