Xokiahi Kids 24hr. Child Care Center, founded January 2018, is a project under our parent 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Nonprofit Organization Xokiahi Cares Inc.  Xokiahi Kids was born out of a desire to ensure that parents on the island of Guam can find the best and most beneficial childcare center for their family needs. Juggling life and a career is a challenge in and of itself.  Finding someone to help - that should be easier. That’s where we come in. We are dedicated to providing affordable, reliable, and safe childcare to those within the communities we serve.

In May of 2018, we opened up in Tamuning here on Guam.  Xokiahi Kids' focus is on the family as a whole. We strive to ensure that our ability to provide responsible and reliable childcare is not overshadowed by the monetary obligation. We focus on the needs of the family and look to provide a solution to those needs in addition to providing care for their children.

Many of the services we provide through Xokiahi Kids are available through Xokiahi Cares, including those of our active community projects: Angels Giving Soles, Angels’ Heart Bags, Carers’ Kitchen, Carers’ Closet, For the Love of My Sister, and Teal and Purple Roses.  As a community nonprofit organization, we can better assist those in need in this setting and provide no questions support (in some cases) for our Xokiahi Kids family members.

In supporting our families we do not have an automatic No Pay, No Stay policy. Depending on the situation of the family, we have options that may help families with maintaining their child care while pushing past the hardships that may arise. We may not be able to assist everyone but we will work with our families' individual situations as best we can. We can assist in the following ways:

1. Accept Block Grant,  (those who qualify)

2. Offer Payment Plans

3. Offer Scholarships (Emergency Situations)

4. Offer Child Care Credit

Xokiahi Kids 24hr Child Care Center not only runs off of the payments from our families but also from fundraisers, profits from our center store, family donations (monetary or products), company donations, volunteer hours, and donations from future supporters like you who take time to see how you can help. Please see list below for accepted in-kind donations and where monetary donations are allotted.

Enrollment at Xokiahi Kids is open to children from 6 weeks through school age (15). Enrollment shall be granted without regard to a child’s race, culture, color, creed, religion, national origin, gender, or disability; and without regard to a parent or guardian’s race, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, gender, pregnancy or disability. Parents can apply for enrollment of their child in Xokiahi Kids by completing the Registration Form and paying the Registration Fee. The Registration Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you withdraw your child from the program for any reason, a Re-Registration Fee will be required if you choose to return at a later date.  Full registration information is available from our center.
