STUDENT SERVICE LEARNING PROJECT
We see every challenge as an opportunity, and this initiative helps us ensure that our partners are better prepared to manage the unique situations they find themselves in. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community and delivers the support they need, when they need it.

STUDENTS K-12
Xokiahi Cares, inc. is proud to be a part of the student service learning project of Guam. We want students to be able to gain valuable knowledge, learn to use critical thinking skills to make decisions, build communication skills, and be able to use their talents while assisting our organization. All students require the following:
Complete Student Registration with Parent or Guardian Signature
Sign up for activity interested in
Ensure adult or responsible party drops them off
Ensure parent or responsible party meet with the project manager before ride leaves
Ensure parent or responsible party meet with project manager to pick up student (unless previously arranged)
Those arriving without parental permission will not be able to participate and will need to contact parents onsite
No student, without prior coordination, will be able to leave the activity site without parental permission.
COLLEGE STUDENTÂ INTERNSHIPS
Xokiahi Cares is proud to be a site for students who are in need of practicum hours for collegiate classes. We are currently a site for the following:
GCC Human Services Student
If you are in need of practicum hours and would like to see if we can assist, please contact us with the requirements and we will see how we can help.
STUDENT GROUPS
All student groups must have a point of contact or POC for their particular group. This POC will attend the required Group Manager Training prior to signing their group up for an event. All high school student groups (i.e. Honor Society, Junior Class, etc.) will have an adult in addition to a student as the POC for their group and at all events unless other arrangements have been made.
