VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Volunteer Opportunities and Volunteer Safety is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. Below you will find the procedures we have put in place to show our commitment to this cause.
REQUIRED VOLUNTEER TRAINING
Volunteer training is required to be accomplished by all of our volunteers. This keeps them safe and knowledgeable of the policies and regulations of Xokiahi Cares, Inc. This training is required prior to participating in all Xokiahi Cares, Inc. volunteer projects. Please sign up to complete the training. We conduct training every Friday evening at 7:30 pm in our office. This is a one time training.
VOLUNTEER PROJECT SIGN-UP
Signing up for our programs are easy. Submit a volunteer registration form. You will receive a response email with your volunteer number.
Go to the project you want to support and click sign up. You will automatically be signed up for the volunteer opportunity of your choice. You can sign up for as many programs as you can commit to.
VOLUNTEER HOURS
Every time someone contributes volunteer hours with Xokiahi Cares, they have the option to keep track of their volunteer hours in our system using their member number. These hours can be used to move up our volunteer recognition board. It can lead to awards and prizes. You must be a volunteer member of Xokiahi Cares in order to participate in this program.
PRESIDENTIAL SERVICE VOLUNTEER AWARD
Volunteer work with us can be added to your qualifications for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award.
